Educational Qualification
Income Tax Inspector: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent
Tax Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree and Data Entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour
Multi-Tasking Staff: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized University /Board
Age Limit
Income Tax Inspector: 18-30 Years
Tax Assistant: 18 to 27 Years
Multi-Tasking Staff: 18 to 25 Years
Age Relaxation:
  • 5 years for Unreserved/OBC candidates
  • 10 years in the case of SC/ST candidates
Departmental candidates with three years continuous service in Central Government can apply up to an age of 40 years (45 years for SC/ST).
